THE OLD VICARAGE – CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION

We are welcoming you throughout 2022 and beyond

see the information below

March 2022

The Welsh Government have eased all coronavirus regulations relating to the hospitality industry.  This means that the wearing of masks is no longer required, but is recommended in crowded indoor settings as guidance.

We are continuing to operate a range of behind the scenes measures to protect guests, visitors and our local community - and we received both VisitBritain/VisitWales Good To Go and Safe Travels, as well as AA Covid-Confident, accreditations, so you can be reassured in respect of our actions.

To reassure you, we have undertaken a detailed risk assessment and other changes to how we operate to ensure that hygiene and cleaning regimes continue to offer the best protection we can to our guests and visitors - these are summarised below.  Our risk assessment and changes take into account continuing government guidance and detailed information from UKHospitality and other trade bodies.

You can see our risk assessment here.

Making your stay as safe as possible

We want to make sure your stay is as comfortable and safe as ever, and to do that we have undertaken a detailed Risk Assessment and are maintaining some changes to how we work.  These are aimed at continuing to ensure the safety of you, ourselves and our local community.  If you have any questions, please do ask us.

When you arrive…
• Your keys and key fob will have been sanitised and will be in your room.

Your room
• We have a robust cleaning and sanitising regime in place and will continue to ensure there are at least 28 hours between rooms being used.
• In line with guidance, if you are staying for more than one night, we will not clean your room during the day unless you particularly request this. Please put your rubbish bag outside your door and we will collect this. Let us know if you need top ups of anything.

• We will continue to rest a room after occupancy for at least 28 hours before the next guest.

Breakfast
• For a short while longer we will continue to serve most choices from our breakfast menu from the kitchen, rather than having a full buffet for fruit and so forth.

Departure
• Please put any used towels in the shower, and rubbish in the bin.
• Please leave your key on the mantelpiece in your room.

If you have any questions or queries, then please do not hesitate to contact us.
